Casks were snapped up by faceless funds, traditions commodified, and the tradesmen behind the craft overshadowed. Worse, counterfeit bottles flooded markets, eroding trust in whisky’s most sacred asset: its authenticity.
We saw a way to add layer of protection on top of the long-standing customs that have ushered whisky into the current day. And we knew we could do it with respect and delicacy.
